Our sustainability goal...
Prioritise the safety & health of our people, their families & the communities we work within.
A healthy workforce is essential for our continued operations. The remote locations of our farm sites mean access to health information and services can be challenging. As a company, we are committed to ensuring that employees have safe environments to operate within and appropriate training to be able to conduct their work in a manner that mitigates the risk of injury to themselves and others.
In 2023, the Company appointed a new HR and safety Manager who has undertaken a rigorous six-month review of operational safety standards, processes, and reporting and developed a detailed road map to lead the company’s health and safety initiatives. This has resulted in the appointment of on-site safety officers who, together with the Health and Safety team provide on-going training and education across all operational sites.
