Sustainability through Governance

Laws & Regulations

  • Our sustainability goal...

Abiding by & respecting the local laws, regulations & processes.

Atlas Pearls is committed to conducting its business and all associated activities ethically and with integrity, consistent with the values set out in our Corporate Code of Conduct.

We have published formal policies, including a Whistle-blower Policy and an Anti-bribery and Corruption Policy, which provide transparency to the Company’s compliance framework.

  • Atlas Pearls takes a proactive approach to prevent bribery and corruption. We integrate these risks into our existing risk management processes and maintain a robust governance structure. We also implement stringent measures across our employees and any third party associated with the company, ensuring that ethical business conduct is upheld at all times.

Our anti-corruption and anti-bribery policies and procedures are communicated to all governance body members and the management team. For our site employees, training and communication are focused on those employees with access to company financial systems.

We recently restructured our Corporate Social Responsibility team to ensure accountability, effectiveness, and transparency of sustainability metrics and initiatives. This includes quarterly reporting to the board.

International Tax Agreement

Atlas Pearls implemented the world’s first Bilateral Advanced Pricing Arrangement (APA) between Indonesia & Australia, ensuring the fair and transparent tax treatment of international transactions.
